In response to the industry’s longstanding challenge of undervalued and expensive sampling, JLC strategically positioned itself to provide a comprehensive electronic one-stop service. Venturing into high-quality 3D printing services in 2020, JLC aimed to meet demands for affordability, top-notch quality, and swift delivery, making prototyping convenient and accessible. By 2022, JLC’s annual revenue exceeded 6.3 billion RMB, with their 3D printing service factory in Zhuhai printing millions of samples annually.
The most important features are to me the automatic reloading system in the filament chambers (when the spool is empty it goes automatically to the next chamber), the high-performance dual nozzles (500°C) and that the printer is an Open System. It allows us to choose the right material for our customers’ applications.

JLC3DP initially encountered limitations with Stereolithography (SLA) and Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) technologies due to increasing demands for large-size samples. SLA technology fell short of meeting stringent material property requirements, while SLS struggled with the printing of large-size parts.
To overcome these challenges, JLC3DP introduced Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM) technology printers, becoming the first printing service bureau in China to do so. After rigorous assessment, the INTAMSYS FUNMAT PRO 610HT was chosen for its ability to produce large-size engineering plastic parts efficiently.
We researched all domestic and international FDM 3D printers. After comprehensive evaluation, we introduced two INTAMSYS FUNMAT PRO 610HTs. Following a year of process optimization, we are highly pleased with the 610HT's performance. In 2023, we purchased four more 610HT units to increase production capacity.

Meeting strict standards for customer delivery quality, JLC3DP relies on INTAMSYS FUNMAT PRO 610HT for large-size parts, ensuring a high-quality surface finish with dimensional accuracy averaging at 0.2-0.3mm. JLC3DP’s FDM Process Leader, Ye Yongchi, highlights the significant advantages of the 610HT in printing larger ABS and PC parts while avoiding common FDM process issues such as warping and deformation.
As for the parts with the dimensions over 25cm that are more difficult to print, we would turn to FUNMAT PRO 610HT. Following JLC3DP’s commitment to high quality, printed parts must undergo 100% quality inspection, 610HT produces parts with great surface finish. Customer satisfaction and repurchase rate of parts printed by 610HT are very high.

Since its commissioning, the FUNMAT PRO 610HT has been operational 24/7 with high stability and a low failure rate, demonstrating its industrial-grade continuous production capability. INTAMSYS’s commitment to professional technical support and training has further enhanced JLC3DP’s ability to meet rapidly growing demands.
INTAMSYS offers competitive pricing and collaborates closely with JLC3DP to optimize the “open source material” printing process, ensuring stability and long-term cost reduction. This partnership signifies a strategic move towards popularizing industrial-grade FDM technology in China.
Looking ahead, the goal is to empower JLC3DP to expand its 3D printing services to include high-performance materials such as PEEK, PEI, and PPSU, paving the way for innovation in the high-end manufacturing industry.
